Film Opening - Final Cut

Making this film opening has certainly been a journey. From the very first idea I had, of a film just portraying a character's mental struggles and focusing on really getting that hopeless idea across to the viewer, to the later iteration of a similar idea, in which everything was hopeful and well, to the last and final version, which is a combination of the two, an honest and truthful portrayal of a character and the way they grow and evolve.
I'm really glad I decided on a mix of the two ideas, because I feel like it makes for so much more relatable of a story, and it makes it a lot more meaningful to me, too. A lot has changed since the initial script and outline of the film opening, but I'm really proud of how it turned out, both the well planned out parts and the spontaneous creative decisions.
I'm really satisfied with how the music and the voiceover bring everything together, and how smooth some of the cuts turned out, as well as the overall progression and visual aspect of the film opening, which I think also turned out really well. Naturally there are always going to be things I wish I would have done better, but nevertheless, for a first attempt at film making, I'm very happy with how this came out.
