Research Into Music Video Conventions

In this post, I will be listing some conventional characteristics of music videos that I've found during my research, and then deciding which ones I would like to use in my own music video.
Here are the conventions:

In my music video, I'll be using a Narrative style because I don't really have the possibility of filming the band as they're performing; but I don't think this will be an issue, because I was planning on making the video very abstract anyway, as I think it will fit the song (Antimatter by Silent Planet) very well. As for the characters, I will most likely only have one of them, two at most. I'd also like to include a short title sequence for the song and band name.
I'll also be following some conventions specific to the metal and metalcore genre. Music videos in this genre tend to be very focused on the meaning of the song, rather than simply showing random things on screen; this is usually done through the location choice, props or costumes.
